    Cambridge Science Festival: Bottle Your Genes
    Year 12 and 13 students will be helping at the Bottle Your Genes stall at the New Museum's site as part of the Cambridge Science Festival.

    Babraham Institute
    Year 12 Biology AS students will be visiting the Babraham Institute in order to find out more about the type of research carried out at the institute.

    Holocaust Educational Trust
    Eva Clarke, a survivor of the Mauthausen concentration camp in Austria, is visiting the college to talk to students.  The visit has been organised by the college's History department and Equal Opportunities programme in conjunction with the Holocaust Educational Trust.

    Geography trip to 2012 Olympics site
    AS Geography students will be visiting the 2012 Olympics site in the East End of London to carry out fieldwork for their 'Rebranding' unit.

    Visual Arts trip to the National Gallery and National Portrait Gallery
    Year 12 Visual Arts students will be visiting these two galleries to gather resources, photographs and drawings for future studio work.

    Film Studies in New York
    AS Film Studies students will be going to New York to visit museums and cinemas to widen their experience of cinema.

    Goethe Institute
    Year 13 German A level students will be visiting the Goethe Institute in London to watch a video of their set play and to have a tour of the institute library.

    Film screening at Picturehouse Cinema
    Year 12 and 13 Media students will have an opportunity to see their work screened at the Picturehouse Cinema.

  • Wednesday 5th May 2010
    A Midsummer Night's Dream
    The 2010 College Production is an open-air performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Nearly 40 students will be taking part as actors, singers and dancers. There are also three student directors assisting lead director Jessica Hemmings, Drama Course Team Leader.

    The play will be performed in the grounds of the college.  It is provisionally scheduled for 4pm on 5th May and 6pm on 6th & 7th May.

    Higher Education Convention
    Year 12 students will be attending the annual Higher Education Convention at the Indoor Arena at Wood Green, Godmanchester.  Around 120 universities and Higher Education Colleges will be there to talk to students and provide information about the courses they offer.

    Barcelona - Geography, Travel & Tourism
    Geography and Travel & Tourism students will be visiting Barcelona to carry out fieldwork.

    Barcelona - Politics
    Government and Politics students will be visiting Barcelona to study politics in Spain: anarchism, nationalism and fascism, the role of the Church, colonialism and the Spanish Civil War.

    Trip to Southern Africa
    Year 13 Science students will be going on a post-A2 trip to Southern Africa to conduct scientific research projects. Further details will be available shortly.
