Skills for Life
Literacy and Numeracy
Do you need to brush up your skills to move on in life?
We all have some difficulty coping with everyday life. It could be managing the family budget, spelling, reading or helping your child with homework.
We can help you brush up your basic skills in literacy and numeracy, and if you would like, help you gain a nationally recognised qualification in literacy and / or numeracy. Don’t get by – Get on ! Get rid of those Gremlins. Telephone us for free confidential advice and support during the day on 01223 507498 and ask to speak to our Coordinator of Adult Basic Skills.

Public Lecture on Specific Learning Difficulties
Each year in May we host a public lecture on one topical aspect of specific learning difficulties. Past lectures have covered Autism, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Attention Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder (AD / HD) and Language Acquisition. If you are thinking of taking a course, this annual lecture is always a good opportunity to meet the tutors and talk to past and present students.
